Agee Reflection EssayBoth of my grandmothers passed away within a short amount of time. I remember the funerals themselves vaguely, as I was about Rufus’ age, but the emotions associated with the events remain with me to this day as clearly as hot sunlight passing through crystal glass; fragmented but strong, holding no less intensity than the original stream of light.     My grandmother on my mother’s side was the first to pass away. I was extremely close to her in only the way a young child can come to be; in the perfect, absolute sense of blinding innocence and naivety.

And So It GoesThe steady rain fell throughout the morning. She sat alone watching the drops hail down towards the Earth, plummeting to their ultimate demise; actually rather merrily she thought. It was cold, a deep cold that penetrated her bones. Unlike the freezing winter, which numbed her senses, the wet air invaded her marrow and stole any life she had left within her.  
   Loneliness was a curious thing. Voices drifted past her; through her, but all the same she remained alone. One. Herself and yet uniquely different from whom she thought she was and who she wanted most to be. Once in awhile she would see a familiar face and would forcef And So It Goes

It's a Cold WinterThe winter is cold this year  I left myself open, catching snow flakes within the folds of my heart  Feeling the ice creep up my spine and settle, forming frozen lakes in my mind  Y’know skating through my thoughts is a perilous journey   
But last night I fell asleep to the steady drum of a heart beat  Listened to the fiery waves crash against my soul  And I know that no matter how cold, how frigid, the night becomes your intensity will show the road to the safety of home

So.... I feel really.... bubbly today. Isn't that horrible? I'm like "HI! HI! HI! I KNOW YOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!" Lets hope that's a decent sales tactic. I get to close with the new guy. I think I like him. I'm not exactly sure yet. I do like the new girl. She's nice, and she will do well interacting with customers as soon as she gets a little more product knowledge. And to be fair, my store has a lot to know as far as little details.

So. Yes. I love you all.
